Happy 30th Birthday Kade!!!

Monday, the 25th, Kade turned the big "30". He tried to keep it a secret but with a wife as cute as I am I could not let that happen. However, seeing as Kade is not big on parties I decided to take him flying instead. The day started off with Kimber and I going to Park City and taking Kade to lunch. I then got him to leave work early and surprised him by taking him to ifly an indoor skydiving experience. ifly is where you get to fly by using a big fan. We went with our neighbors and good friends to Ogden and we all got to experience flying. Don't laugh too hard at us in our awesome gear, especially the goggles We went with our friends Dave and Cheryl Here is Kade flying We went to dinner and then back to the house for some cake and presents I surprised Kade with tickets to go see the Dallas Cowboys play the San francisco 49ers, Sunday, November 23rd. Kade has always wanted to go to an NFL game and his team is the Cowboys so I have been saving and planning this trip since Christmas. I was so excited to give him his presents! Kade opened up a Cowboys keychain, toothbrush, and t-shirt, hinting at a theme I had going on, and then his last present were the tickets. Kade always says his birthday is just another day but to me it is a chance to show him how awesome he really is. Kade, I hope you had a FUN day, love ya tons!

The Final Year...

Well here it is, my final year of being in my twenties :(. I ask myself, how did I get to be 29 years old, where did the last 10 years go? I can't believe how fast life goes by once you get married and start having kids. Don't get me wrong I love my life right now and would not trade it for anything I just wish I knew why life has to fly by so fast. So my goals for my final year, hmmm let me think; Enjoy life more, Try not to be so impatient, Not to be in such a hurry for things to come, Travel more (Kade will love that, haha), Lose 5 pounds, Learn to sew. Ok so those are more like new years resolutions but hey this is my final year, I will never be in my twenties again. As you can see I am getting old, my goals seem kind of boring but so far I have all that I want right now and can't think of anything I am missing out on. My birthday was very relaxing, my mom, Teri, and Missy took me to lunch, I hung out at the mall for a bit, and then my hubby took me to dinner and had his family come up for cake and ice cream. I got some great stuff too. Kade has been listening to me in the way that I have said I want to learn how to sew and got me a sewing machine, now I just need to take some lessons with someone who is very patient and understanding and will help me unstitch everything I do wrong. :) My cute Red Bull girls and the boys in the office gave me flowers and a certificate for some pedicures, a very much needed gift, thanks again gang! Here are some pictures of that night with the Hanks fam Hayley Darek And this is Heidi. As you can see the three above where having way too much fun with the camera :)

Pioneer Days-Colorado

So we headed to Colorado for their annual Pioneer Day Celebration.
