The Final Year...

Well here it is, my final year of being in my twenties :(. I ask myself, how did I get to be 29 years old, where did the last 10 years go? I can't believe how fast life goes by once you get married and start having kids. Don't get me wrong I love my life right now and would not trade it for anything I just wish I knew why life has to fly by so fast. So my goals for my final year, hmmm let me think; Enjoy life more, Try not to be so impatient, Not to be in such a hurry for things to come, Travel more (Kade will love that, haha), Lose 5 pounds, Learn to sew. Ok so those are more like new years resolutions but hey this is my final year, I will never be in my twenties again. As you can see I am getting old, my goals seem kind of boring but so far I have all that I want right now and can't think of anything I am missing out on. My birthday was very relaxing, my mom, Teri, and Missy took me to lunch, I hung out at the mall for a bit, and then my hubby took me to dinner and had his family come up for cake and ice cream. I got some great stuff too. Kade has been listening to me in the way that I have said I want to learn how to sew and got me a sewing machine, now I just need to take some lessons with someone who is very patient and understanding and will help me unstitch everything I do wrong. :) My cute Red Bull girls and the boys in the office gave me flowers and a certificate for some pedicures, a very much needed gift, thanks again gang! Here are some pictures of that night with the Hanks fam Hayley Darek And this is Heidi. As you can see the three above where having way too much fun with the camera :)

Pioneer Days-Colorado

So we headed to Colorado for their annual Pioneer Day Celebration. When people asked us why we go to Colorado they are suprised to hear that another State, well, small towns, actually celebrate the 24th of July. We had a lot of fun, we went to the parades, the rodeo, carnival, and my favorite the demolition derby. Here is Kimber with her cousin Katie, Grandma Lu,and Aunt Teri at the Sanford parade The girls LOVE to push the stroller around a lot more then they like riding in it Check out those boots! Flaming Gorge

Ahhh Flaming Gorge, my first boating trip of the year and I was so excited. You can't really tell from the picture but I didn't know my picture was being taken otherwise I would have a big smile on my face. We went with the Hanks family and had a blast. The weather was perfect and you couldn't ask for better wakeboarding water. Now I will admit I was a wimp and didn't get in because I just can't enjoy wakeboarding when the water is that cold. As you can see, Kade wasn't afraid of the cold water. I did get on the tube with our little newphew Kelton. I knew if I went with him then Scott wouldn't try to dump us in the water. :) Kimber has my boating genes. The second she got on the boat and we started going she was smiling from ear to ear. She loves boating. Kimber got a little hot and because she can't walk yet had to crawl around in the sand which at times she liked but other times not so much. I think we will wait until next year before we take her on any more boating trips. She did, however, get out on the tube with Kade.
