Britney Spears

So about two weeks ago Kade and I got the chance to go to the Britney Spears concert. Now I know a lot of you out there are thinking, "oh yuck, I can't believe you would go to her concert." Well we did and let me tell you we loved it! It really was a "Circus." The Pussycat Dolls opened, who were also fantastic bytheway, and then some circus performers came out for about 20 minutes and put on their own little show. Finally, Britney came out and yeah 95% of her performance was lip-sync but I didn't care. She put on an amazing show. The best part of the concert was the sound quality, we could understand every song, nothing was blurred, oh and the girl can still dance. In the past I was not a Britney fan because at the time I didn't like her music but after a concert like that, I am now a fan! Pussycat Dolls Circus people that kept us entertained until Britney came out

Spring Skiing

So we finally made it skiing this season. My boss gave me ski passes for Christmas and an overnight stay up at the Canyons at the Grand Summit Lodge so we had no excuse not to go. We went with our friends Matt and Cass and we had a lot of fun. I haven't been skiing in about 4 years and I have to admit it didn't take me long to get back into it. The snow was actually pretty good and we had a lot of fun. Of course Kimber came with us. She went and played with some friends while we went skiing and then joined us after and we all went swimming and chilled in the condo. The next weekend Kade and I went skiing again and I have to say it wasn't as great. The snow had really melted during the week and it is very hard to ski in slush. I guess that does it for us and spring skiing. We will have to wait until next season but I am excited to get back into skiing again!

Going back to the 70s!!!

So for a wiiings team activity I took the girls to Classic Skating. We all got dressed up in our best 70s attire to play some roller hockey. Now going disco skating took me back to the good ol high school days when I would go to Classic every Saturday night for some disco fun. When we got there I will have to say my team did a great job dressing up. However, I was surprised that not only did many of the girls not know how to roller skate but had never even been on roller skates! It was right then and there I realized just how old I am. But that didn't stop me, I had the time of my life skating around and even still remembered a few moves. I am pretty proud of myself, I only fell once, however, it was when all I was doing was standing in the middle of the floor talking and all of a sudden, whoosh, down I went. Kim won "Best Dressed" Doesn't Kade look groovy. It was a great night!
