We haven't played in the snow too much on the count of which there really hasn't been that much, but we did get to play in it a little. Getting ready to go outside Ready to go back inside :)

Our "Cowboys" Experience

So the weekend before Thanksgiving we went to Dallas to watch the Cowboys take on the San Francisco 49ers. I gave these tickets to Kade back in August for his birthday. We arrived in Dallas Friday night and picked up our awesome rental car. We thought for $11 a day we were going to get a piece of crap car but luck was on our side and we ended up with a brand new 08 Ford Mustang! Saturday we went and toured Dallas, we went to the Zoo, and then found a sports bar and watched the University of Utah crush BYU, it was a beautiful game! On Sunday we headed to Texas Stadium pretty early because we had heard that if you are not on the road at least 2 hours before the game, you won't get there in time. On our way to Texas Stadium Intro of the Cowboys Can't forget those Cheerleaders! The game was awesome! The Cowboys played one of their best games this season. One thing I can say is that you don't mess with Texas football fans, they are crazy, loyal, and funny. I had waited until game day to buy me a Cowboys shirt and up until I got one I felt so out of place. Everyone was in Cowboys attire from head to toe. We had gone to IHOP before and even the employees at IHOP were decked out. I felt much better once I got into the spirit. We had awesome seats and the people next to us were a lot of fun and were the high five type of fans. Anytime the Cowboys did anything they high fived everyone. The Cowboys won of course and beat the 49ers 35-22. I am not the hugest football fan but I will say going to an NFL game has now become an addiction. I told Kade that I want to see every team in the NFL at least once. He of course didn't say no and is all for it. Once the game was over I took Kade to Fort Worth to the Stock Yards where Red Bull holds their X-Fighters event. We ate dinner, went into some tourist shops and then went back to the hotel. Monday we got to tour Texas Stadium. We saw inside some of the suites, where the Cowboy Cheerleaders tryout, the teams locker room, and then of course we got to walk down on the field. The teams lockroom It was a really fun weekend and something that just might need to turn into a tradition.

Happy Halloween

Ok, so I am only 5 days late posting this but its better to be late then never. Halloween was a lot of fun. The day before, Kimber and I went to Teri and my mom's school to participate in the Halloween parade and party. We went to Teri's school first where Kimber and Katie both rode in the wagon while Teri, who dressed up as a penguin, pulled them around the school and through the auditorium where all the parents were. Teri hasn't given me the pictures yet of her in her costume but I will get one somehow and you can all see her wonderful penguin costume. Next we went to my mom's school where Kimber got lots of suckers and lots of attention from all the students. As you can see Kimber was a pumpkin this year and she loved her costume and didn't even mind the hat. On Halloween night we went trick-or-treating of course and at first Kimber wasn’t sure on what to do but as soon as people held out their bowl of candy she was all over that. She would either take a big handful or take one piece and place in her pumpkin bucket and then turn back and take another piece. People where nice enough to let her take two. We lasted for about a half hour and that is when her bucket was getting too heavy to carry. We then went to some friends houses to say hi and then finished the night off at Wingers for some dinner. Hope all had a great Halloween, on to Thanksgiving and Christmas!
