My Week at X Fighters!
Well last week was one of the longest weeks of my life but one of the best times I have had with Red Bull yet. I was in Texas all week helping to promote Red Bull X Fighters. For those of you who don't know what X Fighters is you should definitely check it out at www.redbullxfighters.com or watch it this Sunday the 22nd on ABC right after the IndyCar Series. Now for those of you who want to know right now it is a Freestyle Motocross Competition. X Fighters in Texas was huge because it was the first time this event has been on American Soil.

I don't think I got to bed before 2am each night and on the last night I pulled an all nighter because I was too afraid I would miss my 7am flight. I am getting way to old to be pulling all nighters.
Because we were in Texas the theme was based on the rodeo world. Lets just say I have my new outfit for any rodeo I go to in the future.
On event day the weather was about 98 degrees with about 80% humidity, oh yeah, it was hot! My job was to make sure the "friends of Red Bull" got on their shuttles from the hotel to the event site on time. I didn't mind that job because I was able to stay inside an air conditioned hotel and only had to work an hour and then got to hangout in the Red Bull VIP tent with some old friends or watch the event close up.
Travis Pastrana was there and they announced his retirement from motocross but he made an entrance with his Rally Racer which was still pretty cool.
I had 4 of my own wiiing team girls there and lets just say they were the talk of the town, only because they were the best! All I can say is that it must be because they have such a great Team Manager. ;)
So that is my short version of my X Fighters experience. I had a great time and made some really good friends.
I have way too many pictures to post so I hope you all enjoy the slide show.
