Happy Halloween

Ok, so I am only 5 days late posting this but its better to be late then never. Halloween was a lot of fun. The day before, Kimber and I went to Teri and my mom's school to participate in the Halloween parade and party. We went to Teri's school first where Kimber and Katie both rode in the wagon while Teri, who dressed up as a penguin, pulled them around the school and through the auditorium where all the parents were. Teri hasn't given me the pictures yet of her in her costume but I will get one somehow and you can all see her wonderful penguin costume. Next we went to my mom's school where Kimber got lots of suckers and lots of attention from all the students. As you can see Kimber was a pumpkin this year and she loved her costume and didn't even mind the hat. On Halloween night we went trick-or-treating of course and at first Kimber wasn’t sure on what to do but as soon as people held out their bowl of candy she was all over that. She would either take a big handful or take one piece and place in her pumpkin bucket and then turn back and take another piece. People where nice enough to let her take two. We lasted for about a half hour and that is when her bucket was getting too heavy to carry. We then went to some friends houses to say hi and then finished the night off at Wingers for some dinner. Hope all had a great Halloween, on to Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Red Bull Soap Box

Last week I had the opportunity to go to Red Bull Soap Box. This event is where people built soap box cars and raced them down a steep hill. This was held at Red Rocks in Colorado. I got out there a few days early to help out with the Wiiing Team Invasion, just like I did with X Fighters, but this event didn't have as many Wiiing Team Members to keep track of. It was still late nights but they were spent on the scenic cruiser, otherwise known as the party bus. The first night we were there they had a kick-off party at the Burton Show room that was a lot of fun and for the first time some of the girls got to try the new Cola from Red Bull. There was of course dancing, food, and a good time. The rest of the time was spent working and having fun. We went to Ft. Collins to CSU and sampled on campus to get people excited about the event, then at nights we had a few girls on the scenic cruiser dancing and passing out Red Bull to those that came on the bus to hangout. The day of the event I was in charge of the Wreckage Alley. That meant that I had to keep a clear path from where the soap box race finished to where the cars were then carried to a pit area, otherwise known as the "Wreckage Alley." This wasn't a bad job. I got to see the race and kept people entertained by yelling at other people who wouldn't move out of the way. This is one of the soap boxes that participated As you can see I found time to take my picture in this "Red Bull" soap box. The winner of the race was the team called "Save Ferris." The soap box car took after the red sports car in Ferris Bueller's Day off. People do a small skit at the top of the ramp and they were all dressed up as the characters on the movie and then they kicked the car down the ramp. The funny thing is they kicked it so it went backwards and they made it look like no one was in the car. When it got so the bottom it came to a perfect stop and out of almost no where a guy gets out of it dressed as the mechanic. However, the most exciting part was a fight that broke out between a girl and guy where the girl threw her beer on the guy, the guy punched the girl. This girl was ready to kill this guy. The guy took off and the cops calmed the girl down. I tell ya, never a dull moment at a Red Bull event. Again, just like X Fighters, I had 4 of my own WTMs there. They worked so hard, drove 10 hours in the Red Bull MINIs, and from what I heard everyone LOVED the Utah girls. They also made sure that I let lose every once in a while as well...thanks girls! I have to say that this event was probably the best I have been to so far. Everyday was a new adventure and the laughter hardly ever stopped.

Just Too Cute

So my little girl is being just too funny lately. She is so much fun and her personality is really starting to show. Her favorite thing to do right now is take all her toys out of her toy box and sit in it. She is also loving to climb up on almost everything as well. These pictures were taken one night when we were watching a movie. Then other day I was in my office working and of course she becomes very quiet in her room and I thought, uh oh. However, when I went to peek on her I discovered she had thrown all her toys out of the toy box and was sitting in it looking at her book. When I tried to sneak a picture she heard me and all she could do was smile. And the cute stuff continues... Kimber has learned how to dip her french fries Having fun at McDonalds Her hair is finally long enough for pigtails Getting ready for Halloween Ok, my brag session is over. :)
